Haunted By Dark Results At MotoGP Portugal Last Year, Alex Rins: I Want To Rise

JAKARTA - The 2022 MotoGP race has entered its fifth series. The racers will compete at the Algarve Portimao Circuit, Portugal.

Suzuki rider, Alex Rins enthusiastically welcomed this race. He feels very ready to achieve good results there.

Alex Rins wants to avenge Suzuki's failure last season at Portimao. At that time, the Spaniard failed to finish the race during the first race in Portugal. While in the second race, he only finished in 8th position.

While in the 2020 season, Alex Rins, who started from 10th position, had to settle for finishing the race in 15th position.

"I want to bounce back from some bad results here in the past and continue the good road in the first race in Europe," Rins said, as quoted by Antara.

The podium in the MotoGP races of Argentina and the United States is certainly a good asset for the 26-year-old racer. Not to mention the GSX-RR motorcycle which is now more solid.

The character of the Algarve Portimao Circuit, which is like a rollercoaster, is believed to be very suitable for Rins' motorcycle.

"Our bike is solid and this track has everything, especially the fast corners and it's a lot of fun," said Alex Rins.
