JAKARTA – Persib Bandung will not be strengthened by Indra Mustafa starting next season. Both sides agreed to end their cooperation.

Maung Bandung announced the departure of the player from Bogor through their official website on Monday, April 4. However, Indra's next destination is not yet known.

"Persib hereby announces that the collaboration with Indra Mustafa has ended," Persib Bandung wrote, quoted by VOI.

Indra previously had a polemic because Borneo had announced as their new recruit in the middle of the 2021 Liga 1 season without Persib's knowledge. He then remained a Persib player when the transfer window closed.

The 22-year-old player joined Persib in 2018. Since joining he has appeared in 17 matches in official competitions.

However, his playing time with Persib this season has decreased drastically after the polemic regarding his move. In Liga 1 2021/2022, Indra only appeared in one match and played for only 13 minutes when Persib faced Persiraja Banda Aceh on November 21, 2021.

"We, all of the big family of Persib, would like to thank Indra for his cooperation and contribution so far. We wish him success," continued Maung Bandung's statement.

Indra is the second player to leave Persib in the last two days. Previously, Persib had announced the departure of Esteban Vizcarra on Sunday, April 3.
