Pedri Brings Barcelona Back To Compete With Real Madrid, Xavi: We Are In The Best Moment Of The Season

JAKARTA - Barcelona, which had slumped, is now enlivening the 2021/2022 Spanish La Liga champions competition. The Catalan club is now putting pressure on Real Madrid, who are at the top of the table.

"We won against a direct rival in a 'six-point game' tonight. We are in the best moment of the season and have to take advantage of it," Xavi said after the game, as quoted by Diario AS.

"Yesterday they (Real Madrid) got the three points and for us today is the final. We will continue to fight for the title until the math tells us it's impossible," he continued.

Xavi then gave his praise to Pedri. He said the Spanish national team player was a superlative player.

"He always makes the difference. He doesn't surprise me. He can play perfectly with both feet and is an incomparable player," said the Barcelona coach.
