The Team's Warm Welcome Makes Pratama Arhan More Excited To Bring Tokyo Verdy To The J1 League

JAKARTA - Indonesian footballer, Pratama Arhan, had his first training session with his new club, Tokyo Verdy on Wednesday, 22 March. Even though he only met his new teammates once, Arhan admitted that he received good treatment and welcome from Tokyo Verdy's family.

On Friday, March 25, Arhan was officially introduced as part of the team by Tokyo Verdy's management together with the Indonesian Ambassador to South Korea, Heri Akhmadi at the Indonesian embassy in South Korea.

On this occasion, Arhan expressed his impression after living in Japan for some time. He said he was happy with the atmosphere there and the welcome was so warm.

“Japan is a very nice country, clean, beautiful and the people are friendly and disciplined. I'm happy, the players here are friendly the welcome is very good. Everyone, the staff also welcomed me very well," said Arhan in a virtual press conference attended by VOI.

For the good reception of his presence in the team, this former PSIS Semarang player wants to repay him with achievements. Arhan is even determined to perform optimally in order to bring Tokyo Verdy promotion to the J1 League.

“Tokyo Verdy is a good team. In terms of strengths, I have speed, a good left footed shot and a long throw. I want to bring Tokyo Verdy to the J1 League and win a lot of trophies, so I ask for your prayers and support."

Tokyo Verdy is one of the legendary clubs in the J-League. But, for now, Hideki Nagai's club is stuck in the second tier of the Japanese League or J2 League. Therefore, Primary Arhan wants to help his team return to their original place, namely the top caste of the Japanese League.

Behind his strong determination to bring Tokyo Verdy back to the J1 League, Pratama Arhan has a long time to continue to grow. Arhan signed a contract deal for the next two seasons or until 2024.
