"This is all for the sake of the nation and state as well as the affirmation of the position of the TNI," he continued.
Dave said matters relating to the position of the TNI and also the rule of law, as well as the rule of society, would still be applied. Likewise with the decision-making process and the process of making this law, said Dave, it has followed all the rules that have been set.
"So that all of our processes through no stage has been passed and we have received all input and input from civil society, from all related institutions," said Dave.

Dave said the Indonesian House of Representatives had submitted the new TNI Law to the Minister of State Secretariat for processing in accordance with the applicable process. The process, he said, depends on the time set by the government.
