TANJUNG SELOR - Provincial Government (Pemprov) of North Kalimantan (Kaltara) will continue to develop road infrastructure in border areas. One of them is the Krayan Ring Road, Nunukan Regency.
Head of the Kaltara Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) Agency, Helmi, said the construction of the Krayan ring road was budgeted again in the 2025 APBD.
"This year we will allocate a budget of around Rp. 5 billion for road repairs, such as for road asphalting activities with a length of about 2 kilometers," said Helmi, Tuesday, March 18.
"For maintenance, two activities will be divided with a length of 80 kilometers. Each budget allocated is IDR 1.5 billion. The total budget disbursed is IDR 8 billion," he continued.
The work on the Krayan ring road will start from Long Bawang, Long Layu and Binuang.
"The possibility for road pavementing is carried out using a multi-year system, especially since this road is very suitable to support the flow of transportation and mobilize the basic needs of the community," he said.
