Ketum Parpol Will Attend Golkar's 60th Anniversary Except Megawati-Surya Paloh

JAKARTA - Deputy Chairperson of the Golkar Party Ace Hasan Syadzily said the general chairmen of political parties would attend the 60th Anniversary of the Golkar Party, except for PDIP General Chair Megawati Soekarnoputri and NasDem Party Umun Chairman Surya Paloh.

He said the absence of the two party officials had been confirmed and would be represented.

According to him, all political parties have been invited to attend the event.

"In addition, we are still receiving news that they have not changed their attendance," said Ace regarding the Golkar Party's 60th Anniversary Peak event at Sentul International Convention Center, Bogor, West Java, reported by ANTARA, Thursday, December 12.

According to him, the absence of the two figures does not mean that the relationship between Golkar and the parties is not good.

He said the other political parties were partners for Golkar.

"Because they are also part of our partners to build this nation," he said.

Apart from the leaders of political parties, he also has not received confirmation regarding the presence of the 7th President Joko Widodo. Golkar previously stated that he had invited Joko Widodo to attend.

Based on the activity schedule, the event will be attended by President Prabowo Subianto and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka.

Prabowo is also scheduled to make a speech to convey directions to the Golkar Party.

In addition, the General Chairperson of the Golkar Party, Bahlil Lahadalia, will deliver a political speech in the context of the 60th Anniversary of the Golkar Party.
