Heri-Sholihin Files A Lawsuit On The Results Of The 2024 Bekasi City Regional Head Elections To The Constitutional Court

Paslon Heri Koswara-Sholihin has officially filed a lawsuit regarding the results of the 2024 Bekasi Pilwalkot to the Constitutional Court.

The candidate pair Heri Koswara-Sholihin has officially filed a lawsuit regarding the results of the 2024 Bekasi Pilwalkot to the Constitutional Court. The legal team of pair number 1 filed a lawsuit on the Dispute of Regional Head Election Results (PHP) to the Constitutional Court.

On the mkri.id website, the 2024 Bekasi Mayor's PHP from Heri-Sholihin was recorded as entering on Tuesday (10/12/2024), at 19.10 WIB. The lawsuit was contained in the Application for Applicants (APPP) for Electronics number 224/PAN.MK/e-AP3/12/2024, which was filed through Heri-Shilihin's attorney, namely Zainudin Paru, Joko F Prabowo, and Basrizal, with the Bekasi City KPU respondent.

Representative of the legal team Heri-Sholihin, Iqbal Daut Hutapea, explained that the material for the lawsuit submitted to the Constitutional Court was not only related to the application for votes, but also highlighted allegations of fraud and money politics in the process of the 2024 Bekasi Pilwalkot.

"First, the MK hopes to uphold justice and not hold on to the formal requirements for the threshold for submitting applications for voting results only. However, the Constitutional Court needs to pay attention to dispute requests regarding fraud and money politics in the Bekasi City Pilkada process," said Iqbal.

According to Iqbal, his party has reported various alleged violations to Bawaslu and the KPU. However, these reports have not received a response.

"Then the number of reports that have arrived at Bawaslu and KPU but have not received a response. Of course this is the material we report and file a lawsuit to the Constitutional Court," he concluded regarding the lawsuit against the results of the 2024 Bekasi Pilwakot.
