Deputy Chairman of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Nurul Ghufron said that his party continues to collect the results of calculating state losses in corruption cases related to the cooperation and acquisition of PT Jembatan Nusantara by PT ASDP Ferry Indonesia (Persero).

This was conveyed by Ghufron when asked about the meeting between the KPK and BPKP which was conveyed by KPK Deputy Chairman Alexander Marwata some time ago. He said, in a request to speed up the calculation, it had been carried out so that the detention could be carried out.

"Coordination (with BPKP, ed) is done, already. This means that when we go there, we have a request to submit an application," said Ghufron to reporters at the KPK's Merah Putih building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Tuesday, December 10.

From this coordination, Ghufron said the calculation was still ongoing.

"We ask how far the progress is," he said.

As previously reported, Deputy Chairman of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Alexander Marwata said that his party had scheduled a meeting with the Head of the Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP) Muhammad Yusuf Ateh. There are a number of discussions that will be held, including related to the calculation of state losses.

"Next week we have scheduled to meet with the Head of BPKP, right, regarding the calculation of state losses that were deadlocked," Alexander told reporters at the KPK's Merah Putih building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Wednesday, November 20.

Alexander explained that there were a number of corruption cases related to Article 2 and Article 3 which calculated the state's losses had not been completed. As a result, many suspects have not been detained before the end of their term of office for the KPK leadership for the 2019-2024 period.

As for the alleged corruption in business cooperation (KSU) and the acquisition of PT Jembatan Nusantara by PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry, four suspects have been named. However, an official announcement by the anti-corruption commission has not been made.

The suspects in this case are the President Director of PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero), Ira Puspadewi; Harry MAC as the director of planning and development; Yusuf Hadi who is the commercial and service director; and Adjie who is the owner of PT Jembatan Nusantara.

It is suspected that there has been a state loss which allegedly reached Rp1.27 trillion due to the actions of the suspects. However, the value can still change.

A VOI source said this allegation arose because the acquisition process for PT Jembatan Nusantara did not comply with the regulations. Reporting from a number of reports, PT ASDP purchased PT Jembatan Nusantara in February 2022 with a value of IDR 1.3 trillion.

This state-owned company then controlled 100 percent of PT Jembatan Nusantara shares with 53 ships under management. "The process (in carrying out business cooperation and acquisition, ed) has no legal basis," he said.

"So all acquisition rules are violated," is still quoted from the same source.

In this case, the KPK has confiscated 15 land and building assets from the owner of PT Jembatan Nusantara, Adjie. The value reaches hundreds of billions of rupiah and is located in the Pondok Indah, Menteng, Bogor City, and Surabaya City areas.
