JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta General Election Commission (KPU) announced locations prohibited from installing props or campaign attributes for the 2024 General Election by election participants, both billboards, banners, and public elections.

This determination is contained in the Decree of the DKI Jakarta KPU Number 363 of 2023 concerning the Installation Location of Campaign Performance Equipment in DKI Jakarta Province in the 2024 General Election.

In general, campaign attributes are prohibited from being installed in places of worship, hospitals or health care facilities, educational places, government-owned buildings, certain government-owned facilities, and other facilities that can disrupt public order.

Details of locations that are prohibited from being installed with campaign attributes are as follows: 1. Certain areas include: a. Jalan Medan Merdeka Barat, Jalan Medan Merdeka Timur, Jalan Medan Merdeka Selatan, Taman Monas Area, Tugu Tani Area, Banteng Field Area, Jalan Jenderal Sudirman, Jalan MH. Thamrin, Jalan Diponegoro, Jalan Gatot Subroto and Jalan Ir. H. Juanda;b. Area around the State Palace (Jalan Medan Merdeka Utara, Jalan Veteran, Jalan Bina Graha/Jalan Veteran II and Jalan Medan Merdeka Barat);c. Park Monas Area; d. Tugu Tani Area;e. Banteng Field Area;f. Semanggi Bridge Area;g. Hotel Indonesia Roundabout Area; h. Cornelis Simanjuntak Area; i. Taman Puring Area; j. Pemuda Statue Area; k. Kalibata Heroes Cemetery Area; l. Kelapa Gading Park Area without the implementation of billboards;m

2. Certain places that are prohibited from being fitted with campaign attributes include: a. Pagar divides roads, pedestrian bridges, bus stops, terminals, stations, ports and electricity poles; b. Places of worship, including courtyards, hospitals or health care facilities, government-owned buildings, educational institutions; c. All express-free roads (right and left side of the road), road crossing bridges (JPO), flyovers, underpasses, service rest areas within toll roads (rest areas); d. Facilities belonging to the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government; e. TNI/Polri-owned facilities; Danf. BUMN/BUMD-owned facilities.

3. Parks and certain spaces that are prohibited from being fitted with campaign attributes include: a. Tugu Tani Park; b. Menteng Park; c. Suropati Park; d. Amir Hamzah Park; e. Proclamation Monument Park and its surroundings; f. Srengseng City Park and its surroundings; g. Martha Tiahahu Park and its surroundings;h. All parks managed by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government; i. RPTRA (child-friendly integrated public space)/Progress Park Together; Danj. RTH (Green Open Room) includes TPU (Public Cemetery Park), City Forest, Green Line, Bibit Garden, and Ragunan Wildlife Park.

4. Bridges and/or certain beaches that are prohibited from being fitted with campaign attributes include: a. Penganten Bridge and Sakura Beach Untung Island Java; b. Mangrove National Park Kelapa Island; c. Sunrise Beach and Plaza Panggang Island Regency; d. Karma Beach Lancang Island;e. Sunrise Beach and Pramuka Island Regency Plaza; f. Cinta Bridge Tidung Island;g. Pasir Perawan Beach Pari Island.
