National Police Chief Gives Biological Sister Bharatu Bonifasius A Chance For KKB Shooting Victims To Enter The Police

East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) Police Chief Inspector General Johanis Asadoma said National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo gave the younger brother of Bharatu Anumerta Bonifasius Java to become a member of the National Police.

"Indeed, there is attention from the National Police Chief to give the deceased's younger brother the opportunity to become a member of the National Police," he said in Kupang, quoted by ANTARA, Friday, November 24.

This was revealed when welcoming the arrival of the body of Bharatu Anumerta Bonifasius Jawa who was the victim of the shooting of an armed criminal group (KKB) in Intan Jaya, Papua on Wednesday (22/11).

According to the two-star commander, the attention given by the National Police Chief is a positive thing and proves that the National Police Chief is paying attention to his subordinates.

This is also part of the efforts of the National Police Chief to respect the struggle of Bharatu Anumerta Bonifasius Jawa which has sacrificed his body for the sake of the nation and state.

The NTT Police Chief also expressed his condolences to the families of the victims for the death of Bonifasius Jawa who is also part of the NTT Regional Police.

Bharatu Anumerta Bonifasius Jawa is a member of the NTT Police Mobile Brigade who was shot during a firefight between KKB Intan Jaya and the Cartenz Peace Task Force (CD Task Force) around Titigi Village, Intan Jaya Regency, Papua on Wednesday (11/22/2023).

During the firefight, two members of the NTT Mobile Brigade Unit DC Task Force were shot. Bharaka Rani Yohanes Seran was shot in the left thigh and is currently still being treated intensively.

Meanwhile, Bharada Bonifasius Java alias Boy died when he was shot in the right back.

The NTT Police Chief said Bharaka Rani Yohanes is currently being treated in Mimika, and is in good condition. He hopes that the health condition of his injured members will recover soon.
