Vice President: Hidayatullah Is Able To Carry Out Strategic Steps To Advance The Ummah

JAKARTA - Vice President Ma'ruf Amin assessed that the Hidayatullah community organization (ormas) was able to carry out strategic steps, to shape insights and commitments to advance the people.

This was conveyed by the Vice President in his virtual remarks at the opening of the Hidayatullah National Gathering (Silatnas), as the press release was received in Jakarta, Thursday, November 23.

"I see Hidayatullah as one of the Islamic organizations capable of carrying out strategic steps, to form insights and commitments to advance Muslims in Indonesia," said the Vice President.

By adhering to moderate and constructive Islamic values, according to him, Hidayatullah has always spread the teachings of harmony and harmony between religious believers, peace, compassion, and justice.

"Thank you for Hidayatullah's consistency in promoting wasathiyah Islamic values, namely polite Islam, peaceful, tolerant, and contributing positively to the progress of the nation," said the Vice President.

He advised, the spirit and determination of this noble so that it can continue to be maintained by the next generation of Hidayatullah.

On the same occasion, the Vice President also invited Hidayatullah and other Islamic organizations to take an active role in the development of the sharia economy in the country, in order to create a more just, prosperous, and dignified Indonesian society.

"Collaboration of all Islamic organizations in strengthening the network of Islamic economic joints is very important to accelerate the progress and welfare of the people," said the Vice President.

Ending his remarks, the Vice President wished Hidayatullah a happy 50th birthday. He stated that he was looking forward to the real contribution from this organization for the progress of the nation in the future.

"Hopefully this organization will continue to be a pioneer in strengthening the commitment of the community and nationality, as well as being one of the guardians of the nation's and state's journey in the future," said the Vice President.

Meanwhile, the General Chairperson of the Central Executive Board of Hidayatullah, Nashirul Haq conveyed several moral messages, among others, an invitation to build the unity of the people in the framework of presenting the best solution for the benefit of the people and the nation, adhering to the principles of wasathiyah, and being committed to producing a superior generation in various aspects.

"Hidayatullah continues to be committed to sharpening his vision of building an Islamic civilization, namely the realization of the values of faith in all aspects of life. Realizing that building an Islamic civilization is a big agenda that must be carried out together with all components of the people and nation, then Hidayatullah continues to encourage the realization of the unity of the people as the key to strength and success," said Nashirul Haq.

For information, Silatnas Hidayatullah 2023 was given the theme "50 Years with the People to Build a Civilized Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia", because it coincided with the organization's 50th anniversary.

Silatnas Hidayatullah took place at the Hidayatullah Gunung Shooting Islamic Boarding School Main Campus, Balikpapan, East Kalimantan. This activity was attended by 20 thousand da'i/da'iyah from all corners of the archipelago.
