Hasto Claims To Have Communication With AMIN Facing Ruler Pressure, PKB Reminds About Karma

JAKARTA - The chairman of the DPP National Awakening Party (PKB), Daniel Johan, responded to the claim of the Secretary General of the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDIP), Hasto Kristiyanto, who said that he had built communication with candidate pairs number one, Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar or the AMIN pair to face the pressure of power in the 2024 presidential election.

Although the AMIN National Campaign Team (Timnas) stated that there had been no communication from PDIP, Daniel Johan said that his party as a supporting political party opened a communication room to keep the 2024 election running smoothly and peacefully.

"We always open communication between coalitions. The point is, we take care of each other so that this election is of high quality so that legitimacy gets the recognition of the people and internationally," said Daniel Johan when contacted, Monday, November 20.

Regarding the alleged pressure from the authorities on the candidate for vice presidential candidate, according to Daniel, this must be dealt with firmly.

The member of the DPR for the West Kalimantan electoral district then reminded about karma. He considered that good treatment would bear good fruit and bad treatment would bear bad fruit.

"Let the people who witnessed and judged it, we are sure that the law of karma will run. Good will bear good fruit and vice versa, we are just firm in the path of goodness," said Daniel.

Previously, Hasto mentioned the pressure received by the National Winning Team (TPN) Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD in various regions. According to him, there are state instruments involved in putting pressure on political opponents of certain groups.

Hasto then claimed to have communicated with Anies Rasyid Baswedan-Abdul Muhaimin Iskandar (AMIN) who felt similar pressure.

"We agreed with AMIN as well, the use of an instrument of power. In this context, we also build communication with AMIN because we feel the same way," said Hasto at the Sari Pan Pacific Hotel, Jakarta, Saturday, November 18.
