Coldplay Concert Ticket Fraud Worth IDR 1.3 Billion Arrested

The Central Jakarta Metro Police have arrested the perpetrators of fraud and embezzlement of Coldplay concert tickets with a loss of Rp1.3 billion. The perpetrator is known to have the initials GA alias GDA.

"It will be released in the afternoon," said Central Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Kombes Susatyo Purnomo Condro when confirmed by VOI, Monday, November 20.

According to information compiled by VOI, the perpetrator is still under investigation by the Central Jakarta Metro Police Satreskrim.

Head of Public Relations of the Central Jakarta Metro Police, AKP Dwi confirmed the arrest of the perpetrator of Coldplay concert ticket fraud with a loss of Rp1.3 billion.

"(The perpetrator) has been (arrested)," he said.

Meanwhile, investigators from the Central Jakarta Metro Police Satreskrim are still investigating the roles taken by the perpetrators against the victims.

As is known, the victim was deceived by the purchase of 430 Coldplay tickets with a price of Rp 1.3 billion. The victim has also made an official report at the Central Jakarta Metro Police.

Based on the statements of the police investigation witnesses, the alleged perpetrator of this fraud carried out his actions by selling tickets. However, actually the perpetrator did not have the ticket.
