Ganjar Pranowo Alludes To Drakor: Democracy Is Not Doing Well Now

JAKARTA - Presidential Candidate Ganjar Pranowo said that democracy in Indonesia is not doing well at this time. Ganjar emphasized that democracy, which is paired with Mahfud MD, must be maintained so that it remains straight.

"So we get number 3 right according to the 3rd principle of Indonesia, we unite all of them in an encouraging political process," said Ganjar Pranowo, Tuesday, November 14.

"But in the past few days we have been presented with a very interesting drama. Drama drama is what really shouldn't happen. We should start celebrating democracy through elections and seeing the current situation we have listened to many of our parties catch what is the public's anxiety," said Ganjar.

The anxiety, continued Ganjar, was conveyed by religious leaders, national teachers, cultural observers to student activists.

"We must agree that democracy can be good even though it is not good now. We are all calm, because we are very confident that there are Indonesian people together with us to maintain democracy in this country," said Ganjar.

Regarding the drama, President Jokowi previously talked about the current political conditions ahead of the 2024 presidential election. For Jokowi, what is currently happening is too many political dramas.

"I see that lately what we have seen is too many dramas, too many dramas, too many soap operas, there should be fight ideas, fighting ideas, not fighting feelings," Jokowi said in a speech at Golkar Anniversary, Monday, November 6.

"If there is a fight that makes us all bothered, I don't have to continue because it will go anywhere," said Jokowi.
