Galang Support, Ganjar Greets Ponorogo Community With Sholawat

PONOROGO - Thousands of residents spilled over in Alon-Aloon Ponorogo City, to attend the 10th Sholawat Mafia recitation and Harlah, Thursday 9 November.

Not only enjoying the chanting of prayer, which was sung by KH Muhammad Ali Shodiqin, the thousands of Sholawat Mafia, the majority of whom were young people, also declared support for the Presidential Candidate (Readpres) and Vice Presidential Candidate (Readwapres) Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfuf MD.

"The choice may be different but harmony remains number one. Don't want to be divided because we are one Indonesian people. Let's also provide support to Palestinians who are currently being hit by humanitarian conflicts. Hopefully the war there will end soon," he said.

Meanwhile, the Head of the East Java Ganjar-Mahfud Winning Team, Budi Kanang Sulistyo, admitted that Ponorogo Regency has almost the same characteristics as the areas in Mataraman.

Namely, apart from many PDI-P supporters, the majority are Nahdatul Ulama (NU) residents. This is what makes his party approach this Sholawatan and recitation.

"Alhamdulillah, there are many enthusiasts. We have to get it, the public can already assess who will lead Indonesia in the future. Without having to press or direct the public to be smart in choosing the president," he said.

The former Regent of Ngawi 2 for this period also responded to the positive trend of the Ganjar-Mahfud electability survey, which has recently been higher than the other 2 candidate pairs. This proves that the public is increasingly confident in Ganjar-Mahfud.
