Karo Regency Government Ensures Accommodation Readiness To Welcome Aquabike In Toba

The Karo Regency Government has confirmed the readiness of accommodation to welcome the 2023 Aquabike Jetski World Championship international water racing event at Lake Toba, North Sumatra, November 22-26, 2023.

"As one of the hosts, the inn is ready to accommodate visitors at this Aquabike show," said Head of Tourism Division of the Culture, Youth and Sports and Tourism Office of Karo Indra Tarigan Regency in Medan, North Sumatra, as reported by ANTARA, Thursday, November 9.

The accommodation consists of hotels, guesthouses, villas, mes located in Tongging Village, Brand District, Karo Regency.

"The infiltration there can accommodate 500 people, but we still provide alternatives to stay in the Kabanjahe and Berastagi areas," he said.

Because, according to Indra, the two places are not far from the location of the Aquabike show later. Because he said the distance was only one hour.

"We are optimistic that tourists who come to this Aquabike championship can reach 2,000 people," he said.

Aquabike Jetski World Championship is the second world water racing championship to be held in Lake Toba, after the F1Powerboat World Championship in February.

PT Aviasi Wisata Indonesia (Persero) or InJourney which is the Tourism and Supporting BUMN Holding is believed to be the organizer of the 2023 Aquabike Jetski World Championship.

The water racing event will be held in four districts around Lake Toba, namely Karo Regency, Dairi Regency, Samosir Regency, and Toba Regency.

The presence of this event is believed to be able to move the wheels of the regional economy, increase tourist traffic, as well as become a forum for MSME players to develop their business wings to become bigger, including the hotel and restaurant business.
