JAKARTA - The Populi Center Survey Institute released the latest survey results related to the holding of the 2024 Presidential Election (Pilpres). The majority of the people want the presidential election to be held on February 14, 2024, which will be held in just one round.

Public Opinion Populi Center manager Hartanto Rosojati revealed that 64.9 percent of the public or respondents wanted the presidential election to be held in one round.

"Meanwhile, 26.9 percent answered two rounds, and 4 percent answered no problem one or two rounds," said Hartanto at the Populi Center office, Mampang Prapatan, South Jakarta, Thursday, November 9.

"The remaining 4.2 percent answered they did not know or did not answer this question," he continued.

The survey also gave questions regarding the belief that the presidential election would be completed in one round. As many as 63.9 percent of respondents answered confidently.

"Very sure 10.4 percent and sure 53.5 percent. Meanwhile, 31.3 percent are unsure (not sure ( 28.8 percent and very unsure 2.5 percent). The rest answered they did not know or did not answer (4.8 percent)," Hartanto said.

The Populi Center survey was conducted on October 29-5 November 2023 against 1,200 respondents. The survey was conducted face-to-face with the Populi Center application.

The selection of samples was carried out through a multistage random sampling method with a margin of error of up to 2.83 percent and a confidence level of 95 percent.
