Puan Optimistic PDI Perjuangan Can Keep Her Voice In Central Java

The chairman of the PDI-P Central Executive Board, Puan Maharani, is optimistic that her party can maintain the number of voters in Central Java Province in the 2024 General Election. Although PDIP will face Gibran-Prabowo supporters in the area.

"We are optimistic, God willing, we can still maintain Central Java, we maintain our voices. Hopefully and what we will do will continue to be in line with the hope that we will compete fairly, bless and maintain unity," said Puan after the Internal Meeting of the Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD Regional Winning Team at Jatidiri Sports Center, Semarang City, Saturday night.

According to him, elections must be carried out properly and smoothly and not divide the unity and integrity of the nation.

"The election is the election, but the most important thing is to keep Indonesia united," he said.

When delivering his directives to volunteers and representatives of political parties supporting the presidential pair Ganjar-Mahfud who were present, Puan advised the public to use their conscience in choosing Indonesia's future leaders.

"Today we came here because we have the same belief, the same thought. A leader who is trustworthy, tries to work for the people, not for the benefit of the family or groups," he said.

He also asked the public not to be afraid if there are parties who intervene or intimidate their respective political choices in the upcoming elections.

"Don't be afraid of who the opponent is, even though he has been our family. We must not be afraid, we must not be discouraged, we remain united in winning Ganjar-Mahfud," said Puan enthusiastically
