JAKARTA - President Ganjar Pranowo's candidate to support repairing damaged roads in Lampung so that it can be completed immediately because the roads are basic facilities for the community.

According to Ganjar, road repairs must be carried out by working together by the government. Therefore, Ganjar encouraged the central government to jointly support road repairs in Lampung.

"It must be completed, because it is a basic facility that must be done. So, both central, provincial, district, and village, all must work together, God willing, it can," said Ganjar.

Ganjar himself has communicated with local governments in Lampung regarding repairing damaged roads. According to Ganjar, all parties have the same spirit to do so.

"I see that the governor here also has the same spirit. I asked the regent, only the capacity. If the capacity is lacking, the center can help and it's now running, it's just a matter of priority so that the people are happy," said Ganjar.

Previously, it was reported that the central government had taken over the repair of damaged roads in Lampung Province which had gone viral on social media.

Specifically for the Lampung region, the central government disbursed funds amounting to Rp800 billion. The budget will be used to repair 15 roads that have started in June 2023.
