Ganjar-Mahfud Coalition Not Worried About Gibran Prabowo's Vice Presidential Candidate: 2 Years Of Walkot Soloo Has Not Seen His Achievements

JAKARTA - Head of the National Campaign Division of Bappilu DPP Hanura Party Jimmy Charles Kawingian assessed that the votes of the candidate pair for vice president-presidential candidate Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD will not be affected by the presence of Gibran Rakabuming Raka who is Prabowo's vice presidential candidate.

According to him, the public already understands which leaders have achievements and which ones will advance in the 2024 Presidential Election contestation (Pilpres) due to the influence of their parents.

"People are getting smarter and more observant to see who the leaders are when they become regional heads with various breakthroughs. If two years in office, it doesn't look like what can be relied on from their achievements," Jimmy said as quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, October 26.

He assessed that Ganjar, who served as Governor of Central Java for 10 years, had made many breakthroughs, the results of which were beneficial to the community.

Meanwhile, Mahfud, who is 'not' of experience in executive, judicial, and legislative institutions, is a figure and legal expert who has proven clean and has become a'short' of law enforcement in Indonesia.

"Of the three pairs of candidates, only Ganjar-Mahfud will really pay attention to and the legal rights of the community to seek the truth in every process being carried out. Ganjar-Mahfud is the best leader to replace Jokowi-Ma'ruf," he said.

Jimmy said Ganjar-Mahfud did not see Gibran's presence as Prabowo's future vice presidential assistant as a threat.

The presence of President Jokowi's eldest son in the 2024 presidential election contestation actually became a spirit for the'machine' of the Ganjar-Mahfud coalition party and volunteers, to be more solid and close ranks to win the presidential election contestation.

"Ganjar, who has led Central Java for two terms with various breakthroughs and achievements," explained Jimmy.

Therefore, he believes that Java Island as the 2024 battle groundPilpres can be controlled by the Ganjar-Mahfud pair.

Chairman of the DPP Perindo Party Yusuf Lakaseng believes that the Ganjar-Mahfud pair can control and win votes on the island of Java, especially Central Java, which is the battle ground for the 2024 presidential election.

"Central Java is inevitable to become a battle ground but we believe Central Java will still be the main home for Ganjar-Mahfud," said Yusuf.

According to him, this belief is very reasonable because Ganjar has succeeded in leading Central Java for 10 years and PDIP has a solid and loyal mass base in the region.

The Ganjar-Mahfud pair are very confident in winning. Good ideas, integrity and track records are the advantages," he said.
