Searches Firli Bahuri's House In Bekasi, Workspaces To Bedrooms Become 'Susceptibility'

Polda Metro Jaya also searched the house of KPK Chairman Firli Bahuri who was at Grand Villa Galaxy Bekasi Housing, West Java. All rooms ranging from the workspace to private bedrooms are targeted by investigators.

"Yes, all (the entire room of Firli Bahuri's house was searched)," said the head of the local Neighborhood Association (RT), Rony Napitupulu, to VOI, Thursday, October 26.

The search of the house is said to have lasted 6.5 hours or started at 10.00 WIB until 16.30 WIB.

Rony said that during the search process, the figure of Firli Bahuri also witnessed. However, he could not confirm that the KPK chairman entered the house through the shop door which was reportedly connected to his residence.

"Wow, I don't know. I came to see him already," he said.

During the search process, Rony only knew that the investigative team did not confiscate anything from Firli Bahuri's house. Although, investigators were seen carrying several suitcases.

"There is nothing (goods taken or confiscated by investigators)," said Rony.

Meanwhile, the police also searched Firli Bahuri's house on Jalan Kertanegara, South Jakarta. The process is estimated to last approximately three hours starting around 11.57 WIB to 14.28 WIB.

Investigators were seen outside Firli Bahuri's house carrying a suitcase. Then, other investigators carried black printers by carrying them.

However, no statement was made by investigators after the search process. They immediately got into the car and left the location.

It is suspected that the suitcase contained several documents confiscated from Firli Bahuri's house.

Polda Metro Jaya said the search was carried out to find a bright spot in handling the alleged extortion case against former Agriculture Minister Syahrul Yasin Limpo or SYL.

"The point is that this (search) is in a series of investigation processes to shed light on a criminal case of alleged extortion," said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko.
