RSPAD Waits For Prabowo's Health Test Before Handing Over Anies-Cak Imin And Ganjar-Mahfud Test Results To KPU

JAKARTA - The team of doctors at the Gatot Subroto Army Hospital will submit the results of the examination of the prospective presidential and vice presidential candidates for the 2024 General Election after all prospective pairs undergo the test.

Thus, the results of the Anies Baswedan and Muhaimin Iskandar (Cak Imin) health tests as well as Ganjar Pranowo and Mahfud MD will only be submitted to the KPU after Prabowo Subianto and his partner register and undergo similar medical tests.

Prabowo himself has not yet visited the KPU office to register as a presidential candidate. Although he has not announced who his partner is, it is reported that Vice President Prabowo is Gibran Rakabuming Raka, the son of President Joko Widodo.

"We will submit the results of collective examinations to the Indonesian KPU after all candidate pairs carry out examinations," Head of Gatot Subroto Army Hospital, Albertus Budi Sulistya at Gatot Subroto Army Hospital, Central Jakarta, Sunday, October 22.

Budi explained that the health checks for Ganjar and Mahfud today involved 50 doctors with various special backgrounds, as well as two psychologists.

"So there are a team of doctors from the RSPAD, a team of doctors from the representatives of each polydium and BNN, as well as the Indonesian psychology set," said Budi.

The examination time is about 8 to 10 hours. After that, the team of doctors will hold a plenary session to assess the results of the health examination of the presidential and vice-presidential candidates.

Continuing, the Chairman of the Indonesian KPU Hasyim Asy'ari emphasized that there is no difference in the mechanism for health checks for all pairs of presidential and vice presidential candidates.

Anies-Cak Imin conducted a medical examination at the Gatot Subroto Army Hospital on Saturday, October 21. Meanwhile, Ganjar-Cak Imin underwent an examination today.

"Like yesterday, the first day of health checks, the duration is more or less the same, the substation to be examined is also the same, the method to be used to check is also the same, and the team of examining doctors is also the same," explained Hasyim.
