Santri Day, Kaesang Safari Politik To Cadangpinggan Islamic Boarding School Indramayu

PSI General Chairperson (Ketum) Kaesang Pangarep held a political safari at the Cadangpinggan Islamic Boarding School (Ponpes), Indramayu, West Java, Friday, October 20 afternoon. Kaesang's arrival with PSI elite was greeted by cheers from the students and students of the Cadangpinggan Islamic Boarding School who were also holding Cultural Parade and Santri Festival activities in a series of commemoration of Santri Day which is commemorated every October 22. Arriving at the location, Kaesang immediately met and held a closed meeting with the founder and caregiver of the Cadangpinggan Islamic Boarding School, Abdul Syakur Yasin, who is also known as Buya Syakur. After the Buya Syakur meeting, he expressed his appreciation for President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) who had given recognition of the existence of santri as one of the elements of national development. "We celebrate santri day as well as the excitement, so that Santri Day really enters our home. This is a gift from God as well as through Mr. Jokowi, we are recognized as a component of the nation that participates in developing the country," said Buya Syakur at the Cadangpinggan Islamic Boarding School, Indramayu, West Java, Friday, October 20, confiscated by Antara.

Furthermore, he also invited all santri and female students in the country to make a positive contribution in developing the nation and state. "That's why the important thing is not just the existence but what can be given, the benefits for this country," said Buya Syakur. On the same occasion, Kaesang also advised the students and students of the Cadangpinggan Islamic Boarding School to always follow the advice of Kiai Buya Syakur. "So I was asked to give material to my friends, to be honest I haven't been able to. I have a message for all the younger siblings here, namely taking care of Pak Kiai, that's a message from me," said Kaesang.
