NasDem Bendum Clarifies Car Tax That Anies-Imin Is In: Has Paid Before Going Viral

General Treasurer (Bendum) of the NasDem Party Ahmad Sahron clarified the issue of the Land Rover car carrying the presidential and vice presidential candidate of the Change Coalition, Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar (Cak Imin) when he left for the KPU had not paid taxes.

Sahroni, who supplied the car, admitted that his party had forgotten to pay the Land Rover vehicle tax numbered B 8165 HH.

However, the deputy chairman of Commission III of the DPR emphasized that the vehicle tax had been paid today. Sahroni also included evidence of payment of vehicle taxes made on October 19, 2023 at 10.42 WIB.

"That's the exclusion of paying taxes, that's right. But I immediately ordered my staff to immediately pay the taxes at that time, the evidence above," Sahroni explained to reporters, Thursday, October 19.

In fact, continued Sahroni, the car tax payment was made before it went viral. Even though he said, the payment was made when Anies-Imin was still at the KPU.

"Even before (it went viral). That's at 10.42 WIB we paid. We were still at the KPU earlier. Until the pay time we recorded it," said Sahroni.

It is known that Anies and Cak Imin boarded a white Land Rover from NasDem Tower to the Indonesian KPU when they were about to register as a pair of presidential and vice presidential candidates in 2024.

Anies and Imin or what the Amin couple called were compact wearing a white shirt with a black cap, riding a Land Rover with an open roof complete with a sticker that read "Just be amen first".

Before entering the gate of the KPU building, Anies-Imin took the time to greet the supporters by waving and smiling. Both have also been determined by the KPU to meet the requirements as presidential and vice presidential candidates.
