Prabowo's Companion With 2 Names, Full Power Democrats Win Prabowo Whoever The Vice President Is

JAKARTA - The candidate for vice presidential candidate (cawapres) accompanying Prabowo Subianto has narrowed to two names. The two names are said to be young people.

Responding to this, the Democrat Party stated that it would continue to fight to win the presidential candidate for the Advanced Indonesia Coalition (KIM) Prabowo Subianto, whoever the vice presidential candidate will accompany the defense minister in the 2024 presidential election.

"We are fully committed. So there is no story of turning right, sliding left. Whoever the vice president is, Mr. Prabowo, we will continue to fight our best to win Mr. Prabowo in the presidential election," said Head of the Democratic Party's DPP Strategic Communications Agency, Herzaky Mahendra Putra, Thursday, October 19.

Herzaky ensured that the Democratic Party would respect Prabowo's decision regarding the vice presidential election. Of the two names circulating, the names of Solo Mayor Gibran Rakabuming Raka and SOE Minister Erick Thohir are the strongest candidates to become Prabowo's vice president.

"This is the direction of the General Chair AHY which has been conveyed to the cadres," said Herzaky.

It is known, until now Prabowo Subianto has not announced his potential assistant to run in the 2024 presidential election. Meanwhile, Prabowo will be promoted by the Forward Indonesia Coalition consisting of the Gerindra Party, Golkar Party, National Mandate Party (PAN), Democratic Party, Crescent Star Party (PBB), Gelora Party, and Garuda Party.

Previously, the Secretary General (Sekjen) of the Gerindra Party, Ahmad Muzani, leaked the lattice of two strong candidates for Prabowo's vice presidential candidate. The two names come from young people and have experience in government.

"Indonesia is a rich country. Its population is millions. We want Indonesia to be victorious. Prabowo and the young are the answers," said Muzani on Jalan Sriwijaya I, South Jakarta, Wednesday, October 18, evening.
