Rumors Circulated That Prabowo-Erick Thohir Will Be Declared Tonight, But Postponed Because He Is Still Abroad

Rumors circulated that SOE Minister Erick Thohir would be declared vice presidential candidate accompanying Prabowo Subianto in Kertanegara tonight. However, the declaration of the Prabowo-Erick Thohir pair was delayed because the PSSI General Chair was still in Saudi Arabia with President Joko Widodo.

Erick's issue of being a vice presidential candidate to be promoted by the Forward Indonesia Coalition (KIM) strengthens after a certificate was never convicted and the SKCK circulated on social media. Authorities such as the National Police's Baintelkam and the South Jakarta District Court have confirmed the truth of the certificate.

However, based on Erick Thohir's last upload on the @erickthohir Instagram account, his position still accompanies President Jokowi abroad to meet with the President of the People's Republic of China, Xi Jinping.

It is known that the two pairs of presidential and vice presidential candidates are ready to register with the KPU tomorrow. Both, the Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar pair and the Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD pair. Meanwhile, Prabowo Subianto has not yet determined the vice presidential candidate so he has not registered for tomorrow.

Previously, Gerindra Party Secretary General Ahmad Muzani said that Prabowo Subianto's declaration of vice presidential candidate would be carried out after the general chairmen (ketum) of political parties in the Complete Advanced Indonesia Coalition (KIM) were in Jakarta.

It is known that currently the Minister of Trade and chairman of the National Mandate Party (PAN) Zulkifli Hasan are traveling abroad with President Jokowi and Minister of SOEs Erick Thohir.

"Now that the positions of KIM's party leaders are still overseas following Pak Jokowi's journey. God willing, after all the ketums are in Jakarta, we will immediately hold a KIM meeting to discuss the Prabowo Subianto pair," said Ahmad Muzani in Kertanegara, Jakarta, Tuesday, October 17.

Meanwhile, the General Chairperson of the PAN DPP Zulkifli Hasan (Zulhas) reportedly just arrived in the country on Friday, October 20, evening. At the same night, party officials from the Advanced Indonesia Coalition (KIM) are scheduled to hold another meeting in Jakarta.
