Argo Wilis Train Trip Waits For Argo Semeru's Drop Handling At Wates

JAKARTA - The National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) reported that the Argo Wilis Train (KA) was waiting for the handling of the drop in the Agro Semeru train at the Sentolo-Wates Station (STL-WT) track.

Operational Argo Wilis train which also crosses Sentolo BLB Station (Extraordinary Stop) arrived at the latest information.

The Agro Semeru train crashed at 13.15 WIB on Tuesday 17 October.

"Receiving information from ASP (Awak Kerapian Sarana) KA 17 Argo Semeru has dropped at KM 520 + 4 plots of STL- WT ( Sentolo-Wares Station) road," said Head of the BNPB Disaster Information and Communication Data Center Abdul Muhari in his statement in Jakarta, Tuesday, October 17, quoted by Antara.

The train accident caused several train carriages to roll over. At 13.21 WB Argo Semeru Train asked for help.

Abdul said coordination was still being carried out to evacuate the affected passengers.

"Information from ASP KA 17 Argo Semeru has fallen in a series of blocks upstream downstream, still waiting for further information," he said.
