KemenPPPA Escorts Girls Victims Of Domestic Violence Watered By Her Husband's Gasoline In Langkat, North Sumatra

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection (KemenPPPA) oversees the handling of girls who are victims of early marriage cases which lead to domestic violence in Langkat, North Sumatra (North Sumatra).

"The results of our coordination with the UPTD PPA team of Langkat Regency, it is known that the victim is still in intensive care and the child of the victim who is still a baby is in the care of the victim's family or relatives," said Deputy for Child Special Protection at the Ministry of PPPA Nahar when confirmed in Jakarta, Monday, October 16, as reported by Antara.

This case emerged after the victim (15), who is the wife of a suspected child with a legal conflict, B (17), received burns all over his body as a result of being ignited by flames with gasoline that had previously been poured into the victim's body.

The couple married at the age of the child by having a serial marriage and currently has a child aged three months. Before the day of the incident, the couple had temporarily separated for one week.

"We also regret this incident, especially because the husband and wife are both still children," said Nahar.

The incident began with the feud between the victim and the child with a legal conflict at the house of witness E, who was a friend of the victim.

On Thursday, October 5, a legal conflict child came to witness E's house. He met the victim behind witness E's house.

When they met, the two got into an argument and the victim returned to witness E's house.

Not long ago, a child with a legal conflict asked the child from witness E to buy a bottle of gasoline, some of which were put into a motorcycle tank belonging to a child with a legal conflict.

Meanwhile, some of them were brought by a legal conflict child to the witness's house to be poured into the victim's body.

Children in legal conflict then throw cigarettes that are being smoked at the victim to ignite the fire.

A child in a legal conflict then fled.

As a result, the victim suffered serious burns to the face, chest, neck, hands, right and left ears, and left thighs.
