Health Office Opens Free Health Emergency Service In Biak, Please Call This Number

PAPUA - Biak Numfor District Health Office (Dinkes) opens a quick medical emergency service for people in the local area for free through the Public Safety Center (PSC) 119.

Head of the Biak Numfor District Health Office, Daud N. Duwiri, said that people who want to enjoy this service can contact call center PSC 119 at mobile phone number (HP) 081148601119. This health care and emergency service is confirmed to be free.

"Three other PSC 119 services, namely home care services, 24-hour ambulance services and patient referral services," he said in Biak, Papua, Tuesday, October 10, which was confiscated by Antara.

Through this service, said Duwiri, it is not only related to accidents but also in critical situations of public health emergency response.

"PSC 119 services provided by the Biak Health Office are free of charge," said Duwiri.

He explained, if there are people who contact this call center, the officer will ask where the scene is.

When they find out the location, he continued, the medical team will direct the ambulance from the Puskesmas, health posts, government hospitals closest to the scene.

"Because this is a service for the community, various residents' health needs are a priority," Duwiri hoped.

Duwiri said that the PSC 119 Health Office service is a health emergency response quick service.

He admitted that this service was formed by the Ministry of Health in 2016 in collaboration with the Ministry of Transportation to help deal with health in the community.
