The Precise Pioneer Patrol Team of the Medan Polresta Sat Samapta found 23 packs of unclaimed marijuana on the outskirts of the Deli Tua Canal, North Sumatra.

The evidence of 23 packs of dried marijuana was then brought by officers to the Medan Polrestabes Narcotics Unit for further investigation.

"The disclosure of 23 packs of marijuana began when the police held a patrol," said Head of Samapta Polresta Medan Kompol Husnil Mubarok Daulay, quoted by ANTARA, Monday, October 9.

Husnil said that the Perintis Presisi Patrol personnel of the Medan Kijang 03 Polresta Polresta carried out patrol duties to the jurisdiction of the Deli Tua Police, Medan Polrestabes.

Then the personnel found a bag located on the side of the road.

"Because they suspected that the personnel were trying to open the bag and after opening it, it turned out that there were 22 small packs and a large pack of suspected marijuana," he said.

Furthermore, police personnel brought evidence of marijuana, which weighed about one to two kilograms, to the Medan Polrestabes Narcotics Unit for further processing.
