PURWAKARTA - The presidential candidate Anies Baswedan responded to the declining results of the Anies-Cak Imin pair electability survey. Anies admitted that he remains optimistic even though the survey results placed him in third place compared to his two competitors. While attending the health seminar at Asri Purwakarta Hospital, Saturday, October 7 afternoon, Anies Baswedan responded to the results of the Anies-Cak Imin survey casually. Anies revealed that he remains optimistic in his struggle to win in the upcoming 2024 presidential election contestation. The former Governor of DKI Jakarta also stated that he was not too concerned about the survey results from a number of survey institutions, because according to him, survey institutions are only making a living. "We respect those who are undergoing surveys, and we have very high optimism. We feel firsthand what is happening in society, and we understand that those who conduct surveys do it for a living," he said.

"We respect them, and besides that, the movement of change is increasingly widespread. The same thing happened in Jakarta. We don't really worry about these numbers. We listen, continue to work, and remain optimistic," added Anies Baswedan. Meanwhile, Anies also did not want to mention their vote acquisition target in West Java.
