Aa Gym Supports The Cooling System Program, Calls For Peaceful Elections Without Splits

JAKARTA - Programcooling system ahead of the 2024 General Election run by the National Police through Operation Nusantara Cooling System is supported by famous lecturers from Bandung, West Java KH Abdullah Gymnastiar or Aa Gym.

Head of Operation Nusantara Cooling System (Kaops NCS) 2023-2024 Inspector General Asep Edi Suheri said his party was in touch with Aa Gym at the Tauhid Islamic Boarding School on Thursday (5/10).

In that gathering, he said, Aa'Gym appreciated the National Police in keeping the 2024 Uemilu safe, peaceful without division and welcomed the Police's intention to cooperate with scholars and other religious leaders to cool the atmosphere ahead of the 2024 General Election.

"We thank Aa Gym through lectures, both broadcast on YouTube and other media as well as offline, always calling for safe and peaceful elections so that the nation is not divided," Asep said as quoted by ANTARA, Saturday, October 7.

During the meeting, Aa Gym emphasized that it would invite pilgrims to reduce provocative issues so that polarization and disintegration do not occur so that the Indonesian nation is not divided during the 2024 General Election.

Aa Gym admitted that he always called for the 2024 election to run peacefully.

"So far, without being asked, we always call for safe and peaceful elections and strengthen togetherness with the congregation," said Aa Gym.

In addition, said Aa Gym, Indonesians must always maintain harmony and not be provoked by SARA issues. In fact, differences in choice should not be a trigger for quarrels and hostility.

"Anyone who is elected in the 2024 election must still be supported. Because whoever is elected will be the best for the Indonesian nation," said Aa Gym.

Previously, the Nusantara Cooling System Polri Task Force also visited Ustadz Das'ad Latif on Thursday (28/9).

The gathering was carried out by the National Police in order to collaborate with the ulama together to carry out a cooling system by providing a spiritual shower to reduce negative issues related to the 2024 General Election.
