Sahroni: Surya Paloh Waits For Yasin Limpo At NasDem Tower

JAKARTA - Minister of Agriculture Syahrul Yasin Limpo (SYL) is said to be meeting with the General Chair of the NasDem Party, Surya Paloh upon arrival in Jakarta.

SYL was originally reported to have arrived in Jakarta from Singapore via Terminal 3 of Soekarno Hatta Airport at around 18.05 WIB.

"I should have met you, but the chairman is above, we'll wait. He's straight here or not," said NasDem General Treasurer Ahmad Sahroni to reporters, Wednesday, October 4.

According to Sahroni, SYL met him and said he would meet Surya Paloh at NasDen Tower, Jakarta. However, it is possible that there will be a change in the plan from the Minister of Agriculture.

"Lastly, I met him, he was going back to Jakarta, I will meet the ketum. But I don't know, if he finally changes his plans to come here or not, what is certain is that my clothes are above," he said.

On the other hand, Sahroni conveyed NasDem's attitude regarding the alleged corruption case involving Yasin Limpo. It is said that the legal process must be carried out.

"If NasDem from the first Rio Capella, Johnny Plate, just follow the applicable legal process, so according to the mechanism we respect the KPK legal process and he must follow the process, it can't be," said Sahroni.

As previously reported, Syahrul Yasin Limpo was said to have disappeared during a working visit to Europe. The news circulated amid the issue that he was named a corruption suspect by the KPK.

Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Harvick Hasnul Qolbi, stated that he had not received any news from the Minister of Agriculture and had not yet made contact until now.

"From Spain, the latest information we received was indeed coincided with several of our echelon officials. Echelon I there were 3 people who participated, there was also Echelon II who participated in the minister's working visit, and there were several staff. Returning to their homeland is indeed each because maybe tickets are also limited. Finally separated," said Harvick.

He said he had the latest communication with SYL before the Minister of Agriculture made a working visit to Spain and also Rome.

Harvick also stated that the relevant agencies had searched for the whereabouts of the NasDem politician. "We don't know yet that this is the final position," he explained.
