JAKARTA - First Lady Iriana Joko Widodo (Jokowi) said that the trip by taxi from Jakarta to Bandung was fun and also not so happy because in 27 minutes it had arrived.

"This is with a fast train... we are very happy, from Jakarta to Bandung it doesn't feel like it's only 27 minutes we have arrived in Bandung, and today we want to return from Bandung to Jakarta," said Iriana while using the HIGH-speed train from Padalarang Station, West Bandung Regency, West Java. reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, October 3.

As quoted from the statement from the Press Bureau of the Presidential Secretariat, Iriana Jokowi together with members of the Solidarity Action Organization for the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet Era (OASE KIM) returned to Jakarta on Tuesday afternoon, from Bandung.

Not only First Lady, the members of OASE KIM who took part in the trip also felt the fun. One of them isction Hadi Tjahjanto, wife of the Minister of ATR/Head of BPN Hadi Tjhajanto, who said the scenery seen from the WHOOSH high-speed train on the way was very interesting.

"The ride is cool, it doesn't feel like it. The panorama on the street is also beautiful, ma'am," said Right.

Iriana Jokowi also hopes that the presence of the bettersh high-speed train can shorten people's time to get to Bandung. In addition, the bettersh high-speed train is also considered to reduce congestion.

"Moreover, Jakarta-Bandung, Bandung-Jakarta, automatically reduces time, everything goes smoothly," said Iriana.

Thehubish fast train was inaugurated by President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) on Monday (2/10) as the first high-speed rail service in Indonesia and Southeast Asia.

President Jokowi said the presence of the Jakarta-Bandung Fast Train was marking the modernization of mass transportation in the country.

"The Jakarta-Bandung Fast Train marks the modernization of our efficient, environmentally friendly, and integrated mass transportation with other modes of transportation as well as integrated with TOD, transit-oriented development," said Jokowi during the inauguration of the Jakarta-Bandung HIGH Speed Train.

The government has made free transportation rates for high-speed trains until mid-October 2023.
