Puan Maharani Emphasizes The Need For Mutual Cooperation In Politics Ahead Of The 2024 General Election

JAKARTA - Chairman of the PDIP DPP for Political and Security Affairs, Puan Maharani, emphasized the need for mutual cooperation in politics to face the 2024 General Election (Pemilu).

This was conveyed by Puan during the IV PDIP National Working Meeting (Rakernas) at JIExpo Kemayoran, Jakarta, Saturday, September 30.

"We, the big family of PDIP, will show that we are capable and together win the 2024 election," said Puan in her speech.

According to him, the party bearing the white-nosed bull has presented many of the best cadres who work and excel for the people of Indonesia. Because, PDIP is built from the people and for the people.

"The purpose of the party's struggle cannot be achieved if it is not based on joint commitment and loyalty to carry out this joint commitment," he said.

The chairman of the DPR RI emphasized the importance of solidarity for the sake of the PDIP vote target in the 2024 election, which was higher than the previous political contestation.

"We want an increase in votes. If in areas where we don't get a seat, at least we try to get it. Do you think it can or not? Yes. As long as we are compact, we are solid," said Puan.

In addition, Puan also emphasized that the aspirations of PDIP in politics are to improve the welfare of the community.

"We, the PDIP will create a prosperous society. This is our commitment to our struggle. The party is built by sacrifice, suffering to fight, loyalty that forms an organization," he said.

For this reason, he asked PDIP cadres to be loyal to the ideals of the party and not give up when various exams emerged.

"If loyal, it will definitely reach the end of the goal. Loyalty is a criterion or something that makes our party big and does not easily hit a storm," he explained.

Meanwhile, the Chairperson of the PDIP DPP for Legal Affairs Yasonna Laoly and the Chairperson of the PDIP faction at the Indonesian House of Representatives Utut Adianto were observed to be figures who were seen present when Puan gave a briefing. It appears that thousands of cadres participated in activities while Puan was speaking at the PDIP National Working Meeting IV.

Before Puan gave a briefing, the Director of Anti-Corruption Campaign and Socialization of the KPK, Amir Arief, also spoke at the PDIP National Working Meeting IV to discuss the issue of eradicating rasuah.
