Today, PSI National Land Coffee Discusses Kaesang As Chairman

JAKARTA - Deputy Chairman of the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) Board of Trustees Grace Natalie said PSI will hold a National Land Coffee (Kopdarnas), Monday, September 25 at The Ballroom at Djakarta Theater, Jl MH Thamrin No. 9, Central Jakarta.

One of the things discussed was the possibility of Kaesang Pangarep becoming PSI's general chairman, replacing Giring Ganesha's position.

"The proposals (Kaesang to become chairman of PSI) will be discussed and discussed intensively at the Kopdarnas," Grace said in her statement, Sunday, September 24.

Grace said, since Kaesang officially joined PSI, the majority of regional PSI cadres and administrators have encouraged him to become the chairman of PSI. Therefore, said Grace, PSI will discuss the aspirations of regional PSI cadres and administrators in Kopdarnas Monday.

"After Mas Kaesang yesterday became a member of PSI, there were many aspirations from the DPW and PSI DPD for Mas Kaesang to become chairman. Incidentally, tomorrow Monday PSI will have National Land Coffee that collects PSI administrators throughout Indonesia," said Grace.

Regarding Kaesang Pangarep's chance to become chairman of PSI, Grace asked the public to be patient. He admitted that he did not want to precede the recommendations of the DPW and PSI DPD in Kopdarnas Monday.

"We'll just have to wait and see what the recommendations from friends throughout Indonesia are," concluded Grace.

It is known that the eldest son of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi), Kaesang Pangarep, has officially joined PSI. This membership assurance was marked by the submission of party membership cards (KTA) to Kaesang by PSI General Chair Giring Ganesha, in front of President Jokowi's private residence on Jalan Kutai Utara Number 1, Sumber Village, Banjarsari District, Solo City, Central Java, on Saturday.

PSI's deputy chairman of the Board of Trustees, Grace Natalie, expressed her happiness at the joining of Kaesang with this party. Mawar's identity, which had become a debate, was finally revealed as Kaesang Pangarep.

"So today is a happy day because in the end Mawar, who was asked by media friends so far, immediately introduced herself. Later let it be explained further by Mas Kaesang in person," said Grace after a closed meeting with Kaesang and Erina at President Jokowi's residence.
