4 KKB Members Shot In Oksibil, One Died

Head of the Cartenz Peace Task Force AKBP Bayu Suseno said four KKB members from Kodap 35 Bintang Timur were shot in the vicinity of Oksibil District, Bintang Mountains Regency (Pegubin), Papua Mountains. One person died.

"It is true from the report that it was revealed that four KKB members were shot but one person who died was Ricky Sasaka who was shot in the chest," said AKBP Bayu, quoted by ANTARA, Saturday, September 23.

Ricky Sasaka was shot on Wednesday (20/9) while with his group shooting a passing civilian plane.

The sniper team fired from a distance of 800 meters when the KKB shot a plane passing at an altitude of Oksibil.

From the binoculars, it appears that several KKBs were also injured as a result of the gunfire, but the identities of the three people who were shot are not yet known.

"After being shot, the victim was immediately taken away by his colleagues by entering the forest, including the weapons they used," said AKBP Bayu.

The shooting action carried out by KKB Kodap 35 Bintang Timur led by badminton Mimim resulted in a member of the Very Peaceful Cartenz, Brigadier Agung's death.

In addition, KKB also shot three residents and set fire to kiosks and residents' houses.
