This Is A Pickpocket In A TransJakarta Bus, Caught When His Hand Hit The Victim's Bag

The middle-aged man who often acts on TransJakarta buses has finally been arrested by the victim at the Thamrin Bus Stop, Menteng District, Central Jakarta. The perpetrator, known as Ari (58) was beaten by residents. The perpetrator was arrested when caught by the victim.

"The perpetrator's hand has entered (in the bag of the victim's pants). But the victim was detained," said one of the TransJakarta security officers to VOI at the location.

Then the victim shouted at the perpetrator and reported it to the TransJakarta shelter or stop.

"The victim immediately reported it to the officer. (the perpetrator) was immediately secured with us," he said.

The perpetrator grabbed in Transjakarta when the bus was full of passengers. So he took advantage of the moment so that the victim would not be clearly visible. But unlucky, Ari became the target and other passengers on the bus.

"Yes, that's right (the incident on the bus). The incident occurred in corridor 1, the Thamrin bus stop. In TransJakarta the passengers were full. The direction of Blok M," he said.

For further processing, the perpetrators were taken to the Menteng Metro Police Headquarters to account for their actions.

Meanwhile, the victim has made a report at the Menteng Metro Police Service Center.
