KPK Finds 63 ASN Surabaya City Government Receive Social Assistance, Eri Cahyadi: Those Names Are Not City Government ASN

A total of 63 State Civil Apparatus (ASN) in the Surabaya City Government received social assistance (bansos), as a result of the findings of the KPK. However, the Mayor of Surabaya, Eri Cahyadi, denied this by ensuring that the 63 ASNs were not employees of the Surabaya City Government.

"The ASN names are not in the City Government, I don't know where the 63 tasks come from," said Eri Cahyadi, Tuesday, September 19.

Eri is confused by the names of 63 ASN who are reported to be ASN Surabaya City Government. In fact, the findings of the KPK dozens of ASNs are domiciled in Surabaya.

"Not only the City Government ASN in Surabaya, there are also ASN from the Provincial Government and the central government. Well, 63 of them are not the Surabaya City Government, because the names are not in the City Government," he said.

To confirm it again, Eri will follow up with the Surabaya City DPRD regarding the KPK findings. "We and the DPRD will invite from the prosecutor's office and the police with what the KPK said regarding the findings," he said.

In addition, Eri Cahyadi also stated that he would re-verify the social assistance data in his area. The goal is that social assistance for poor people can be right on target, and can alleviate poverty.

"Because the DPRD and the city government think about how to alleviate poverty in Surabaya. Do not let our good intentions be misused," he said.
