Declaration Of Ganjar Pranowo's Companion Depending On Megawati

JAKARTA - PDIP DPP chairman Said Abdullah confirmed the declaration of a vice presidential candidate who will accompany Ganjar Pranowo depends on PDIP General Chair Megawati Soekarnoputri.

He said, until now PDIP is still working on the reading of Ganjar's assistant vice president, including the names of the Chairman of the Democratic Party Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) and the General Chairperson of PKB Muhaimin Iskandar or Cak Imin.

Both names are already in different coalitions with PDIP. AHY already supports Prabowo Subianto and Cak Imin to become the vice president Anies Baswedan.

"The full authority (declaring the reading of the vice president, ed) is the General Chair," Said said in his statement on September 18.

Said said that his party was serious about working on the names of the vice presidents, including AHY and Cak Imin, as an appreciation to every vice president who had been revealed to the public.

In addition to the two names, other names that continue to be discussed within the PDIP are Menparekraf Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno, SOE Minister Erick Thohir, and former West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil.

Previously, Acting Chairperson of the United Development Party (Plt Ketum PPP) Muhamad Mardiono revealed that the discussion of the prospective vice presidential candidate who will accompany Ganjar Pranowo in the 2024 presidential election is still warm in the party carrying Ganjar Pranowo. The reason is, the party carrying Ganjar will look for a vice presidential reading which will later bring victory in the 2024 presidential election.

This was conveyed by Mardiono after a consolidation meeting of the party carrying Ganjar and the Ganjar National Winning Team (TPN) at the High End Building, Kebon Sirih, Jakarta, Wednesday, September 13.

"We still have a warm discussion about the vice presidential candidate, because of all of us from these four political parties, we prioritize not people, names, and groups from which group and from what, but prioritize the capacity, the vice presidential candidate itself, which we will pair with Mr. Ganjar Pranowo. it will really be a pair that will bring victory," said Mardiono.
