West Nusa Tenggara Police handled five reports of complaints from the public claiming to be victims of the alleged fraudulent investment fraud case Future E-Commerce (FEC).

The Head of Public Relations of the NTB Police, Kombes Arman Asmara Syarifuddin, said the complaint report was now under the handling of Sub-Directorate II of the NTB Police Criminal Investigation Division.

"In handling this complaint report, eight people have been asked for clarification," said Arman as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, September 18.

Of the eight people, he said, some of them were listed as making complaints.

"In addition to the victim, who else? There is no information about it. What is clear is that there are some of them (dillarified) who make complaints reports," he said.

Of the five complaints, he continued, there were varying losses. The value reaches hundreds of millions of rupiah.

"Some are Rp250 million, some are Rp600 million," he said.

Apart from the NTB Regional Police, he said, there was also the handling of complaints by the Central Lombok Police.

Arman said the Central Lombok Police handled three complaints.

"The process there (Central Lombok Police) is still the same, it is still in the clarification stage," said Arman.

With the handling at the NTB Regional Police which specifically handles banking transactions, according to him, there is a possibility that the handling at the Central Lombok Police will be taken over by the NTB Police.

"That's the possibility, those at the police will be taken over to the special committee, let's have one," he said.
