AKBP Achiruddin Hasibuan Sued 21 Months In Prison

The Public Prosecutor (JPU) of the North Sumatra High Prosecutor's Office has demanded AKBP Achiruddin Hasibuan to be sentenced to 21 months in prison in the case of allowing his son, Aditiya Hasibuan, to abuse the victim Ken Admiral.

"Ask the panel of judges who examine and try this case to sentence him to 21 months in prison," said Public Prosecutor Rahmi Shafrina at the Medan District Court, quoted by ANTARA, Monday, September 18.

Rahmi Shafrina said the defendant Achiruddin Hasibuan also paid compensation to the victim or family (restitution) amounting to Rp52 million on a profit basis with Aditiya Hasibuan.

The prosecutor assessed that the defendant violated Article 351 paragraph (2) of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 56 paragraph (2) of the Criminal Code, which was to provide an opportunity for Aditiya Hasibuan to abuse him.

The defendant's actions, said the Public Prosecutor, did not regret his actions. The defendant, who is a law enforcement officer, should protect and protect the community, instead provides the opportunity for Aditiya Hasibuan to abuse him.

Meanwhile, mitigating Achiruddin Hasibuan was because he had never been convicted.

After reading the memorandum of demand by the North Sumatra Prosecutor's Office, the panel of judges chaired by Oloan Silalahi continued the trial with a memorandum of defense (pledoi) scheduled for September 21, 2023.

In the indictment, it was revealed that it began on December 11, 2022 when Ken Admiral sent a chat via Instagram regarding Aditiya's photo upload with Savira Husna who was Ken Admiral's close friend. However, Ken was emotional about the statement, then there was an argument on social media.

On December 21, 2022, Ken Admiral and Aditiya met at a fast food place in the Ringroad Medan area. From the meeting, Ken's car was damaged.

At 02.30 WIB, Ken Admiral and his friend visited Aditiya's residence on Jalan Guru Sinumba, Medan to ask for accountability.

Achiruddin then checked the condition of Ken's car while ordering Aditiya's brother, Arya, to call Aditya. Aditya left the house.

However, instead of solving the problem, AKBP Achiruddin even told Nico Setiawan to take a weapon to his room.

Not long after the weapons were taken, Ken and Aditya fought. As a result, a fight caused Ken to get injured. The results of the struggle, Ken suffered injuries to the body. Meanwhile, Achiruddin seemed to let the fight go.

Previously, on May 2, 2023, the North Sumatra Regional Police (Polda) decided to dishonorably dismiss (PTDH) AKBP Achiruddin Hasibuan for violating the Police code of ethics related to behavior that only allowed the suspect Aditiya Hasibuan to abuse Ken Admiral.
