Plt Chairman of PPP Muhamad Mardiono said the political party supporting Ganjar's presidential candidate (candidate) has never closed the door for any party, including Democrats.

Even so, they put forward the conditions that must be met for political parties who wish to join. Mardiono emphasized that the political party must be committed to winning Ganjar as a presidential candidate in 2024.

"Only one thing that is required is to have a commitment, yes, that the purpose of joining is to win a candidate that we have determined," he said.

In addition, the political party must also be committed to jointly building the nation in the Ganjar government if elected as president in 2024.

"Then in the future, it is together to build this nation for the welfare of the people," concluded Mardiono.

Previously, on Sunday (10/9), BRIN Main Expert Researcher Siti Zuhro believed the Democratic Party had political calculations to determine the direction of support in the 2024 presidential election. However, he considered, Democrats would make more sense if they joined the Advanced Indonesia Coalition.

"From a public perspective, the option of joining the 'ok' Gerindra Party makes sense," said Siti Zuhro, quoted by ANTARA.

As for the post-excluding of the Democratic Party from the Coalition for Change for Unity, the party has not yet determined the direction of its coalition.

There are two options that the party created by Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY), first, joins the Advanced Indonesia Coalition to support Prabowo Subianto as a presidential candidate (candidate).

Second, joining the PDI-P-led coalition carries Ganjar Pranowo as a presidential candidate. According to him, of the two options, the Democrats already have a political calculation with which axis benefits the party.

Then what is the party factor in determining its coalition? Siti Zuhro assessed that the decision of political parties to form a coalition is usually carried out when the chemistry between the respective chairmen of the party is connected.

"It will be difficult to imagine the coalition could be built if the relationship between the general chairman is not good," he said.
