On The Second Day Of The Search, The Banten SAR Team Finally Finds Victims Reportedly Drowning On Mabak Beach

BANTEN - The Banten Search and Rescue Team (SAR) found a dead resident on Mabak Beach. The victim is known to have swam to Merak Kecil Island on Monday, September 11. "The victim named Rili Suhendar (28) was found on the second day Wednesday at 15.00 WIB with a radius as far as 10 meters from the scene of the incident (LKP) and immediately evacuated to the Cilegon City Hospital," said Banten Basarnas Operations Head Heru Amir in a statement in Cilegon, Antara, Wednesday, September 13. The Banten SAR team together with the joint team on the second day conducted a search by dividing into two SRU (Search and Rescue Unit) teams. The first SRU team conducted an underwater search by diving in the area around the drowning victim. The SRU 2 team conducted a search on the surface of the water using a rubber boat three kilometers from LKP. The SRU team finally found the body of Rili Suhendar, a resident of Saketi, Pandeglang with a radius of 10 meters from the LKP. The Banten SAR team and the joint SAR team then found the victim evacuated to the Cilegon Hospital and handed over to his family for burial in his hometown.

"With the discovery of the victim, of course, the SAR operation team was closed and the elements involved were returned to their respective units," said Heru.
