GORONTALO - Gorontalo Police personnel took firm action against suspected abusers of Polri members that occurred in Tenda Village, Hulonthalangang District, Gorontalo City, Gorontalo Province.

"So this member was attacked, even though he had been given warning shots, the perpetrator kept approaching and swinging the sword at the members, and it turned out that one of the shots hit the pants," said the Police Chief.

He said the warning shot that hit MH's pants did not scare him and instead tried to get closer and even attacked the member.

Seeing this condition and assuming his life was threatened, the member immediately took decisive action, by shooting MH's chest.

"After MH fell, members immediately secured the sword. At that time MH was still attacking members, but it was resolved. He was then evacuated to the hospital and medical treatment was carried out. A few moments later he was declared dead," he said.

The police chief said that according to information circulating, MH had experienced mental pressure, but to prove mental disorders, previously there had been no research or observation from the mental hospital.
