Dozens of Cirebon City Police personnel were deployed to help extinguish the fire at the Luhur Coffee Final Disposal Site (TPA), Cirebon City, West Java.

Cirebon City Police Chief AKBP M Rano Hadiyanto said his party deployed personnel and watercanon vehicles to join other officers in extinguishing the blaze so that it would not spread.

"We are working with the fire department to extinguish the fire," said Police Chief Rano Hadiyanto at the fire site as reported by ANTARA, Saturday, September 9.

Rano said that one unit of the watercanon car was able to accommodate 5,000 liters of water with additional personnel assistance from the Cirebon City Police, it is hoped that the fire at the Luhur Coffee TPA will be handled soon.

Head of the Cirebon City Environment Agency (DLH) Yuni Darti ensured that the investigation process would be carried out when the flames at the Luhur Coffee TPA had been extinguished.

Yuni ensured that the blackout process at the Luhur Coffee TPA was still ongoing. Cirebon City Firefighters deployed three fire engines and from various agencies deployed four fire engines.
