A Teenage Boy Covered In Blood In The Kost Tamansari Room, Died In Hospital

JAKARTA - A man with the initials IK (19) was found covered in blood with a sharp weapon stab wound on the left side of a boarding house on Jalan Kebon Jeruk V, Tamansari District, West Jakarta on Thursday, September 7.

Although he was taken to the hospital, the victim's life could not be saved. While it is not yet known the cause of the incident, the case is still under investigation by the Tamansari Police.

"Regarding the incident, the victim died in the hospital. Meanwhile, the case is still investigating witnesses and waiting for the results from the forensics," said Tamansari Police Chief, Kompol Adhi Wananda when confirmed by VOI, Friday, September 8.

Until now, the Tamansari Police have not been able to confirm the cause of death of the victim, whether it was pure suicide or murder.

"We are still waiting for the results of the forensic doctor's examination. (the cause of the victim's death) is still being investigated," he said.

Although investigators from the Tamansari Police Criminal Investigation Unit are still waiting for the results of the forensic examination, the police have examined a number of witnesses.

"There have been 5 witnesses being examined," he said.

Kompol Adhi said the discovery of the body of a man with the initials IK began with a resident's report to the police that there was a victim covered in blood at the hospital. After being traced, it turned out that the victim was found covered in blood from his boarding house.

"We didn't know at the scene because we immediately met him at the hospital, then the witness was taken to the hospital. There were screams, the witness took him to the hospital," he said.

Adhi said his party also found a knife around the victim's body. Investigators are still investigating the case where the man's body was stuck with the knife.
