Not Wanting To Be Complicated, Anies And Surya Paloh Kompak Ask Sahroni Not To Report SBY To The Police

JAKARTA - NasDem politician Ahmad Sahroni called Surya Paloh and Anies Baswedan the main reason for his intention to report the Chairman of the Upper House of the Democratic Party Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) on suspicion of spreading false news to the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Police. According to him, Surya Paloh as the General Chair of NasDem had called him and asked him to cancel the report. "Earlier, when I wanted to go down, Pak Surya (said) 'You can't report someone, you've returned to your office'," Sahroni told reporters, Monday, September 4. Even with Anies Baswedan. The former governor of DKI Jakarta, said that he had sent a message via the WhatsApp short message application. It contained it, asking Sahroni not to report the sixth President of the Republic of Indonesia. "Incidentally, Mr. Anies also asked me to ask for the same thing," he said. Sahroni said Anies did not want the problem to be complicated and brought to the realm of law. Moreover, he wants to focus on winning it with Muhamimin Iskandar as a Presidential and Vice Presidential Candidate in the 2024 General Election. "Pak Anies wants to focus on this future in a series of wins in the 2024 presidential candidate winning strategy," said Sahroni. Previously, it was reported that the alleged spread of fake news which was initially going to be reported regarding SBY's statement regarding NasDem's political maneuvers was considered Democratic. It was said that SBY had conveyed that the change coalition would carry Anies-AHY as a Presidential and Vice Presidential Candidate in early September.

However, Sahroni emphasized that there was no such decision. In fact, in the coalition meeting, there was not the slightest discussion of this matter. "I said that I didn't have any. But Pak SBY asked for the declaration on September 3 to be true. So what Pak SBY said was actually a lie," said Sahroni.
