Police Arrest Three Perpetrators Of Boks Car Theft Based On CCTV Footage

The West Jakarta Metro Police Criminal Investigation Unit managed to arrest a gang of perpetrators of van car theft. The perpetrators were arrested in two different locations in Jakarta and Sentul area, Bogor.

Head of the West Jakarta Metro Police Criminal Investigation Unit, AKBP Andri Kurniawan, confirmed that his party had secured a gang of perpetrators who had stolen a box car parked in the Grogol Petamburan area, West Jakarta.

"As many as 3 perpetrators with the initials G, MS and AA were arrested in different locations," said AKBP Andri when confirmed, Sunday night, September 3.

Furthermore, AKBP Andri explained that the joint team managed to secure the perpetrators with the initials G and MS in a rented Sentul area, Bogor, West Java. Then the two perpetrators were developed.

"We managed to secure another perpetrator with the initials AA in the Jakarta area. Currently, our three perpetrators are still conducting intensive examinations," he said.

The three perpetrators were then taken to the West Jakarta Metro Police for further investigation.

Previously, it was reported that a box car on Jalan Muwardi, Grogol Petamburan, West Jakarta, was stolen by a group of thieves. The case was later reported to the West Jakarta Metro Police Criminal Investigation Unit.

"The team has been dispatched to the scene to collect evidence and witness statements to hunt down the perpetrators," said Head of the West Jakarta Metro Police Criminal Investigation Unit, AKBP Andri Kurniawan when confirmed by VOI, Sunday, September 3.

Currently, the Criminal Investigation Unit is still investigating the case. The police also confiscated CCTV camera footage of the theft incident.
